The NCCU Alumni Association 2021-22, Mr. and Ms. Alumni contest officially started on January 15, 2021. We're excited to announce this year's candidates. Our very own Angela Floyd '97, Metro DC Chapter! The 2019 contest was epic year for our annual Alumni Scholars Scholarship, raising more than $68,000 for students. This year we're aiming to exceed this amount by raising $70,000 for student scholarships. To do this, we need your support. The Metro DC Chapter’s own Monica Perry is Ms. NCCU Alumni 2019-2020!  Monica is the Immediate Former President for the Metro DC Chapter and in July 2019 she received the prestigious NCCU Alumnus of Year Award. She is also a Silver Eagle (Class of 1993). Monica’s campaign raised over $21,000 for scholarships via social media fundraisers, raffle tickets and other fundraisers. Fiscal Year Calendar (2021-2022) All Chapter Meetings occur on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 10am – 12noon, unless. Schedule as known provided below (virtual): 2021 9/18 10/23 11/20 12/18 or date selected for the holiday social 2022 1/15 2/19 3/19 4/16 (4/23 is the date for the Scholarship gala, if in person is allowed); 5/21 6/18 (Tentative Summer Cookout)

Welcome to the Metro DC Chapter of the North Carolina Central University Alumni Association, Inc.'s website. The tri-regional area of the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia, also known as the "DMV", boasts over 1,400 NCCU graduates and former students who have built careers and families here since leaving the "sloping hills and verdant green".
