These scholarship funds are awarded to students from the DC Metropolitan area (DC, Maryland and Virginia (DMV) who attend NCCU and need financial assistance. The Metro DC Chapter’s own Monica Perry is Ms. NCCU Alumni 2019-2020! Monica is the Immediate Former President for the Metro DC Chapter and in July 2019 she received the prestigious NCCU Alumnus of Year Award. She is also a Silver Eagle (Class of 1993). NCCU Alumna Zabrina White-Dempson was sworn as Clerk of the Superior Court for the District of Columbia (below) NCCU Alumna Zabrina White-Dempson was sworn in on Friday, Sepetmer 27, 2019 as the first female Clerk of the Superior Court for the District of Columbia.
